Deepika Padukone,Tissot ambassador in India

Deepika Padukone,Tissot ambassador in India:

New Delhi: Why wait till tomorrow, for what one can do right away? When it comes to picking a brand ambassador for their latest collection, Tissot definitely wasted no time in proving this adage true.

Deepika ticks with Swiss watch maker, Tissot
On a beautiful sunny winter afternoon in New Delhi, Swiss watch makers, Tissot had organized an exciting afternoon party for an exclusive audience, to announce their new brand ambassador and the ‘face of the new generation,’ the hottest debutante of the year.
The afternoon’s proceedings moved swiftly, starting with an upbeat, walloping audio visual accompanied by live choreography.
Just as the audience was settling down to the show, the background track changed. A Moto GP soundtrack accompanied by some striking shadow lighting, heralded the arrival of the brand ambassador. The leggy lissome form of Deepika Padukone draped on a sleek black bike made her entry. Unmistakably evident was the sporty Tissot MotoGP watch that sparkled on her wrist, magestically.
Clad in a classic blue pair of denims, a black tee, and sporty leather jacket she brandished the limited edition watch. These would be barely 7002 in number and would be priced at Rs36, 800.
A white and red dial wound together with a red rubber bracelet (the special “T” moulding on the inside evoking the tread of the off- road bikes, and including the “T+” of the Tissot logo), joined with an engraved deployant buckle bearing the MotoGp logo, the Arabic indexes and black and red counters on the dial guarantee that while you may miss the person sporting it, you are unlikely to not notice the watch itself !
On being asked what tagline Deepika thought was most appropriate for the brand, she quipped, “Keep Ticking!”
If Deepika could design her own distinctive watch brand, what would it look like? “It would combine the sporty with the classy,” was the sport lover’s quick reply.
